time Card Information

How to Fill out Your Time Card for a Semi-Monthly Pay Period

Time is tracked for each work week, which is Sunday through Saturday, within a pay period. Even if the first or last day of a pay period ends in the middle of a week, your timecard/timesheet should stop on those specific days.

Employees are paid two times per month

1.      Pay day is on the 10th for work performed from the 19th of each month through the 3rd

2.      Pay day is on the 25th for work performed from the 4th of each month through the 18th

Payroll information, such as time cards and exception reporting for time changes and additions are due:

1.      By the 4th of each month for work performed from the 19th – 3rd

2.      By the 19th of each month for work performed from the 4th – 18th

Using July 2008 as an example. You will need three time cards for the second pay period in July.
