- Full-time, 12-month position beginning as soon as possible

Serves Principia community, guests, and visiting public by upholding Principia's standard of safety and security while prayerfully and metaphysically supporting campus safety and security; responsible for providing a security presence and monitoring traffic, events, and activities; attends and maintains professional training and standards in accordance with departmental requirements; responds to and assists with security matters and/or emergencies; is a campus first responder and must know how to administer emergency first aid care; must obtain American Red Cross certification in CPR and first aid (training provided); expected to conduct ongoing safety patrols during the school day, providing special attention to student-occupied buildings; focus on pedestrian and fan safety during athletic events after school hours and on safety of boarding students during evening hours; hiring for both the 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. shift and 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday. PHP Developer

Dual-campus position, responsible for Marketing Department's content management systems and back-end programming for web interfaces of Principia's payment systems. Designs, builds, implements, and maintains web-based database applications. Manages offsite web servers and backup systems. Provides backup programming for other web needs in Marketing, including but not limited to HTML, CSS, relevant CMS, and social media sites. Classroom Faculty: History

- Full-time, 9-month position beginning as soon as possible

Position is focused on non-Western history (e.g. Asia and the Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East) and history research skills. May also include some American history and/or Global Perspectives classes. Typically teaches nine credit hours (normally three courses) per semester and advises history majors. Additional duties include serving on academic committees, advising students in general, ongoing professional development, and scholarly contributions. Works actively with history faculty, performing delegated assignments and helping with general business and decision-making associated with the program and in the humanities unit. Director, Engineering Program

- Full-time, 12-month ranked faculty position beginning July 1, 2014, or as soon as possible

Responsible for establishing and administering an on-campus engineering program that utilizes remotely taught courses offered by the University of North Dakota (UND). Responsible for academic advising. Teaches two to three introductory engineering courses per academic year. Proctors up to eight remotely taught courses per academic year. Serves as an adviser for engineering projects, including the solar car team. Establishes financial agreements with UND and financial aid policies for five-year enrollment at Principia. Maintains dual-degree relationship with University of Minnesota and other affiliated universities. Minimum Qualifications: Active Christian Science Mother Church and local branch church membership. Director, Office of Academic Special Programs

- Full-time, 12-month position beginning July 1, 2014, or as soon as possible

Responsible for supporting a variety of multidisciplinary academic programs and championing new academic programs and initiatives. Administers the following academic programs: Abroad Office, Community Service Program, General Education (staffing and scheduling), academic online courses, Public Affairs and Pan African Conferences, and multidisciplinary academic programs. Oversees Sustainability, Metaphysics of Physics, and Leadership Institutes. Serves as liaison with the Euphrates Institute. Manages the process for students who develop special majors. Serves as a unit head-level administrator to those academic programs that do not fall clearly within one of the existing academic units. Coordinates logistics of academic program reviews. Supports department as needed with agenda preparation, copying, ordering, scheduling (including lessons and venues). Organizes publicity for all department events. Resident Counselor (upperclass, women's dorm)

- Full-time, 9-month position beginning as soon as possible

The upperclass Resident Counselor (RC) is a character educator, assisting the Dean of Students in the implementation of the Student Life's educational charge (with emphasis on Principia's Policy 19, College-wide Learning Outcomes, and Student Life Outcomes). The RC encourages residents to grow as students of Christian Science, in moral courage, and as world thinkers and healers; provides a spiritually nurturing home life for students, acting with respect, compassion, and patience; lives/works in the RC apartment in the house, and is on-call 24/7 to oversee the house and support student needs. The RC is consistently watchful and spiritually discerning regarding student well being, house activities and safety, and the overall welfare of the student body; consistently turns students to Christian Science; counsels and provides support and spiritual nurture; models Christian behavior at all times; builds relationships with each student in the house; advises the student house governing board; organizes house activities in collaboration with the house governing board; supports students who violate community standards; exercises moral courage in helping students find freedom from destructive behavior; participates in the integrated Student Life curriculum of character unfoldment programming (including Moral Reasoning programs).
