Administrative Assistant to the President's Executive Assistant Actively provides administrative support to The Principia president's executive assistant, who supports the Board of Trustees, Principia president, and School principal. Junior Graphic Designer

Working in the Marketing and Communications Department, this position provides visual design support that is professional, engaging, and adheres to Principia’s visual brand; handles a variety of design projects, including print, web, and promotional pieces, presentations, and signage; works closely with the creative director and other creative team members to develop design solutions that address client needs. Landscape Worker (Heavy)

Responsible for the leadership and day-to-day operations of Principia’s PreK through Middle School —including instructional leadership, student discipline and mentoring, communications with parents, and planning and implementing a social program. Christian Science Nurse

- Full-time, school-year position beginning as soon as possible

Provides Christian Science nursing care for all Principia College students; provides initial care for all faculty, staff, and visitors to the Principia College campus; fulfills the Manual provision for Christian Science nursing while supporting the purpose and policies of Principia; must live on campus if housing is available; must be able to fulfill a workweek consisting of rotating schedules of on-duty time as well as on-call availability as a backup nurse; may need to be immunized and/or tested for contagious diseases as mandated by the Department of Health in order to be able to continue discharging duties at Cox Cottage. Ensures that recruiting objectives, goals, plans, policies, practices, and actions produce desired student enrollment results, consistent with the overall mission and strategic plan for the office; manages recruiting and contact management programs for prospective students; manages team of admissions counselors; hires and manages recruiting assistants to qualify prospective families for the Upper School; manages the College’s Visiting Weekend Student Ambassador Program; establishes, develops, and maintains field relationships in order to improve recruiting. Resident Counselor - Upperclass Women's and Co-ed Dorms

- Full-time, 9-month position beginning as soon as possible

The upperclass Resident Counselor (RC) is a character educator, assisting the dean of students in the implementation of Student Life's educational charge (with emphasis on Principia Policy 19, College-wide learning outcomes, and Student Life outcomes). The RC encourages residents to grow as students of Christian Science, in moral courage, and as world thinkers and healers; provides a spiritually nurturing home life for students, acting with respect, compassion, and patience; lives/works in the RC apartment in the house; and is on-call 24/7 to oversee the house and support student needs. The RC is consistently watchful and spiritually discerning regarding student well-being, house activities, safety, and the overall welfare of the student body; consistently turns students to Christian Science; counsels and provides support and spiritual nurturing; models Christian behavior at all times; builds a relationship with each student in the house; advises the student house governing board; organizes house activities in collaboration with the house governing board; supports students who violate community standards; exercises moral courage in helping students find freedom from destructive behavior; participates in the integrated Student Life curriculum of character unfoldment programming (including Moral Reasoning programs). Special Requirements: Must be able to obtain College van certification and CPR certification or to complete Principia-provided training within 12 months of hire. Minimum Qualifications: Active Christian Science Mother Church and local branch church membership; Christian Science class instruction; bachelor's degree; five or more years' professional or life experience; ability to effectively lead the thought of youth by translating day-to-day issues into the larger context of serving the Cause of Christian Science; effective listening and communication skills in individual and group settings; demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality; demonstrated professional and natural interaction with others; ability and willingness to work long, flexible hours in both team and self-directed settings; computer literacy; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with college residential life or college-age individuals preferred.
