Extended Care Program Director

- 3/4-time, 12-month position beginning as soon as possible

Plans and implements successful activities for Pre-K through Middle School students needing supervision when school is not in session (primarily after school from 2-6 p.m.); organizes childcare on in-service days, conference days, report-writing days, and other non-school days; hires, trains, and supervises adult and student workers; manages the summer program for children 4-10 years old; partners with the Marketing Department to design informational marketing and advance registration processes. Minimum Qualifications: Active Christian Science Mother Church and local branch church membership; Christian Science class instruction preferred; bachelor's degree preferred; educational/recreational experience with children; ability to maintain strict confidentiality relating to students, colleagues, and the operations of the School; openness to suggestions for improvement and willingness to implement changes as needed; strong communication and interpersonal skills; high-level swimming abilities or lifeguard or W.S.I. experience preferred; willingness to turn readily to God for guidance. *This description includes some, but not all, of the activities and responsibilities assigned to this position.
