Letter From the Chief Executive

In June 2009, Principia introduced the Clarence and Minnie Morey Howard Society to recognize annual giving of $1,000 or more. We’re excited about the initial response from our alumni and friends. The collective support from charter members represents a significant contribution that directly benefits Principia students.

Early Principia benefactors Clarence and Minnie Morey Howard clearly understood the value of Principia’s unique mission and the impact of financial support not only on the institution’s future but also on the lives of every student. It is inspiring to see the Howards’ example of leadership support perpetuated for the current generation of Principians.

As stated in our recent Annual Report, The Power of Giving: Your giving “ignites our ability to provide financial aid for deserving students, state-of-the-art program enhancements, and the pursuit of everyday excellence on both campuses.” With your generous support, our students will continue to receive immeasurable gifts of opportunity, excellence, inspiration, community, and discovery.

Along with the satisfaction of belonging to a community of alumni and friends helping Principia reach its fullest potential for generations to come, Howard Society members enjoy annual benefits that forge stronger connections with Principia. We look forward to providing members with regular updates and insights from Principia administrators, faculty, and students.

In spite of the daunting financial challenges impacting Principia and the world economy, we are embracing the opportunities ahead.
